My name is Pat Bradshaw<\/p>\n
This site is a record of my exploration of the History of the Bradshaw family of Chateaugay, NY.\u00a0 \u00a0In particular I’m researching the lives of my grandfather’s siblings, the children of Patrick and Johanna Bradshaw.\u00a0 With the exception of my Grandfather,\u00a0 who inherited the family farm, they ended up scattered from California to New England.<\/p>\n
I started out doing straight genealogical research, but became more\u00a0 interesting in telling my family’s story.\u00a0 Thus far it’s a ripping yarn that includes\u00a0 divorce,\u00a0 a murder trial, agricultural statistics, a father reunited with a long lost daughter, Billy Martin (yes that Billy Martin), Irish language fragments, tertiary syphilis, and potatoes.<\/p>\n
And I’m just getting started.<\/p>\n
